New & Returning Student Registration

Richland One Parents,

The new school year begins in less than three weeks for Richland One students. Have you registered your children for school?

Registration is required each year for all returning students and for students who are new to Richland One. For the 2025-2026 school year, students must be registered by August 4, 2025 to ensure that they have their schedules and bus transportation (if needed) on the first day of school (August 11).

NOTE: Registering children after the August 4 deadline may result in a delay of 72 hours or more in assigning them to classes and arranging bus transportation. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for children until their bus transportation request has been reviewed and approved. Children who are not registered for school will not be denied bus transportation on the first day, but parents are urged to register them before school starts.

Parents who have already completed the registration process, including providing all required documents (proof of residency for returning students and full documentation for new students), do not need to do anything else.

If you have not started or completed registering your children for the 2025-2026 school year, click on one of the links below:

  • If you have a Snapcode for returning student registration, click HERE.
  • If you are registering a new student, click HERE.

All Richland One schools will have staff available to assist parents with registration Tuesday, July 29 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, July 30 from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. Parents also may go to the Richland One Registrar’s Office (1310 Lyon Street, Columbia, SC 29204) for assistance. If you have difficulty with English and need assistance with registration, please contact our International Welcome Center at (803) 212-1475 or IWC@richlandone.org to schedule an appointment.

Help us ensure that the new school year starts smoothly by registering your children as soon as possible. Let’s work together to make sure our students are registered and ready! If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact your child’s school. #RisingTogether

Thank you.
