Communities in School

Hello SAMS families, 

My name is Destiny Bryant and I am the Communities In Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator at St. Andrew’s Middle School. CIS is the largest provider of integrated student supports in the nation.

Our program provides the needed supports to help your child stay in school and achieve in life (www.cisofsc.org) Annually, across South Carolina more than 18,000 students participate in CIS programming, at 34 schools, in seven counties. We take great pride in supporting each student to provide access and opportunity to critical educational supports. Your child has the opportunity to participate in the CIS Student Support Program.

Services will include individual student supports, as well as group sessions that may include topics such as: social emotional learning, goal setting, dealing with peer pressure, improving study habits, building self-confidence, communication skills and making healthy choices.
